Government to maintain existing Renewable Energy Target

The government will maintain the Renewable Energy Target (RET) at current levels to ensure that at least 20% of Australia's electricity comes from renewable sources by 2020, Minister for Climate Change and Energy Efficiency Greg Combet has announced.
